Southwest Airlines Boeing 737 was taking off on Friday evening from Dallas love field to Indianapolis international airport. Suddenly there was a rush of panic when everyone heard a sound of a bullet firing. Such events always happen in a country where a license gun is always available to the citizens and the people living in the states.
After hearing the sound of the gunfire the crew members and the cockpit staff re-enter the airport. After suspecting the whole incident it has been revealed that the gunshot hit the plane from the right side just below the flight Deck.
No injuries and casualties have been reported and thankfully everyone was safe. However, the flight crew members arranged the different flights for the passengers that were traveling from Southwest airlines Boeing 737 which took them 2 hours.
One of the passengers stated that if the gunshot missed the aim it could hit any of the passengers’ window seats that can harm others further. Everyone was scared yet thankful and was not worried about the delay of 2 hours.

After the incident the runway was shut off for a while for the security check of the surrounding areas for the further flights to take off. However no trespassing was found and everything was marked as safe.
According to a Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) statement, everything was under control and reported accordingly. Such events are happening more in the countries where licensed guns are owned by the citizens.
